Algonkin Fly Fishers - An Ottawa Valley Fly Fishing Club (Founded in 2003).
The Algonkin Fly Fishers club promotes fly fishing and fly tying in the Ottawa Valley. We are located in Eganville, Ontario, Canada. The club caters to both new and experienced fly fishers. We invite you to join us at a meeting to experience what our club has to offer. We currently have members from the Ottawa Valley communities of Eganville, Renfrew, Arnprior, Deep River, Pembroke, Petawawa, Cobden, Golden Lake and Lake Dore.

CLUB NEWS
- September 2024 - Our 2024-2025 program will begin on October 10th at the Echo Centre at 30 Bell St. in Eganville. As before, please note that the schedule is not precisely every 2 weeks to work around availability of the Echo Centre scheduling.
- Dec 29/22 - After 19 years at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, due to a rent increase we would not accept, our meetings have moved effect January 2023 to the Eganville Echo Centre at 30 Bell St. (Located just off Hwy. #41 South, ~1.2 km from the bridge (off Melanie St.))
- Please note that we have been advised of the following information: "Project Healing Waters Canada" no longer exists. They are now called Heroes Mending on the Fly Canada. Their web page is: www.heroesmendingontheflycanada.ca. Heroes Mending On The Fly Canada (HMOTF) is dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and disabled veterans through fly-tying, fly-fishing and associated activities including education and outings.
- As we have already demonstrated, members of Algonkin Fly Fishers are available to instruct fly fishing techniques and fly tying when asked by Heroes Mending on the Fly Canada.
- April 2020: Ontario Stocking Program: The Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources & Forestry has an online service called Fish On-Line that shows an interactive map of Ontario where one can zoom into any waterbody to see the stocking history if any.
