Postby Lew R » Fri Mar 14, 2008 9:00 pm

Hi Everyone:
UPDATE: April 8, 2008 - The list of volunteers for the Algonkin Fly Fisher's booth is shown below.

We will have the materials for a specific fly for you to teach, We will show you how to tie the fly so you will be confident to teach others. Please bring your fly tying equipment and materials as you will be able to tie for yourself during the quiet times.

All volunteers enter the show free of charge. Just tell them at the gate that you are an exhibitor for Algonkin Fly Fishers at Booth 108 in the arena (same location as last year).

On Saturday and Sunday mornings you can enter at the back of the arena if the same process as last year. We will be issued up to four Passes for exhibitors for the weekend so please do not put your name on the pass as several people will have to use the same pass.

We will have at least two people for each time period so breaks can be taken for food, etc.

Below is the schedule with the volunteers as of April 8th.

Friday, Apr 11, 3 pm (Lew & Paul Ricker - setup booth & displays)
Friday, Apr 11, 4 to 9 pm ((Ray Sheppard & (Brian Roadhouse after 7pm))
Saturday, Apr 12, 9am to 1 pm (Brian Shepherd, Lew & Paul Ricker)
Saturday, Apr 12, 1pm to 5:30pm (Simon Baillie, Brian Roadhouse, Lew & Paul Ricker)
Sunday, Apr 13, 9am to 1pm (Jeff & Lucas Radema and Mark Surnoskie with Branson & Skyler)
Sunday, Apr 13, 1pm to 4:30pm (Jeff & Lucas Radema, Lew & Paul Ricker)
Sunday, Apr 13, after 4:30 pm (Lew & Paul Ricker - take down booth & displays)

Thanks for your help. I'm sure you will enjoy the experience.

Lew Ricker

Are you guys sharing an adjoining space with the OFS like last year? It worked out well. We don't usually have trouble filling our booth and if necessary, some of us can go over and help out in your area if you don't have enough bodies.

Good news, we just received word today that we're sharing an adjoining space with the OFS (same spot as last year I think). If it gets really busy like Sunday of last year we may need some help. Thanks for the offer :D.

Cheers,

Paul

This is just a reminder that we're still looking for volunteers. Feel free to sign up for any of the days. Ideally we'd like to have two or more people at the booth.
