This is my best fly so far. It is the Gitana designed by Major John Popkin Traherne in the 1890s. It has a very complicated wing consisting of:
blue macaw
jungle cock
5 sets of golden pheasant tippet
chatterer cheeks
2 golden pheasant toppings over all
