Hook: #4-8, 3-4xl Streamer Hook
Thread: 6/0 or 8/0 Fire Orange
Bead: 3/16” or 5/32” copper
Weight: 0.030” Lead Free Wire
Tail: Sculpin Olive Marabou
Underbody: Dark Olive Dubbing Brush
Overbody: UV Olive Copper Polar Chenille
Instructions
1. Slide bead on hook with small end of bead facing eye of hook
2. Add 3-4 wraps of lead to shank of hook
3. Slide lead forward into hole in bead
4. Attach thread to hook behind lead
5. Wrap thread in behind lead to prevent lead and bead from moving
6. Wrap thread to back of hook creating a thread base
7. Tie in marabou at back of hook (marabou should extend one shank length behind hook)
8. Tie in polar chenille
9. Tie in dubbing brush
10. Move thread to front of hook
11. Wrap dubbing brush forward to front of hook and tie off
12. Palmer the polar chenille forward to front of hook and tie off
13. Whip finish
14. Trim underside of fly (optional)
