A Fly Library has been added to the website. More fly patterns will be added over the next few days. Members are encouraged to share their favourite patterns.
December 19, 2006:
Stocking lists for the Bancroft Mazinaw Areas 2002-2006 and Kemptville District 1999-2004 have been added to the Downloads page.
December 14, 2006:
A listing of the recommended books from tonight's presentation is available from the Club Publications section of the Downloads page.
December 12, 2006:
Tom Adamchick will be presenting “Knot Tying, Equipment, Leader Formulas and Recommended Books” on December 14. He will be bringing overheads, handouts, ropes for knot tying, and monofilament for leader construction. Members are encouraged to bring their leaders and participate in the discussion. Relevant links have been added to the Calendar page.
December 2, 2006:
The Caddis Larva tying instructions are now available from our fly library. We would like to thank Walter Benz for providing the instructions.
November 16, 2006:
There has been a change to the schedule. Walter Benz will be teaching the Caddis Larva at the next meeting on November 30th. Tom Adamchick will now be teaching the Damsel Fly Adult on January 25, 2007.

Algonkin Fly Fishers has a new web presence with our own .com site. The site has also been redesigned and updated.
October 19, 2006:
The first official appointment of club officers occured today. We would like to congratulate our new officers and thank them for volunteering their time and services.
September 21, 2006:
Today marked the first meeting of the 2006-2007 season. Many summer fishing stories and trip experiences were shared with the club.
August 13, 2006:
The 2nd Annual Algonkin Fly Fishers Big Bass Tournament was a success. A total of eight members competed for the top prize. Walter Benz was the winner with a 13.75" smallmouth.
